Keeps an excel sheet or something akin to that with what items they own ect.

Just curious!

just organised mules and a reasonably good memory of what items i have.

for example off the top of my head my clubs:
from t3->mq 64ee/80/98/118/12x/156/x/15x/165/x/151/208.

so for my own purposes i wouldn't need one. But it's a good idea if you don't know what you have/haven't got from memory.
Did consider making a blog and to update it yearly to see how my gear changes. Still considering it

I like that idea, especially if you can create additional custom categories!
That way you can never lose track of where an item is and not waste time hunting through 300+ vault items.

I have an excel file where I can see the sets I have from base char to warlock for the moment. So I can see easily and fast what gear I'm missing or can upgrade :)

Alas I had an ulterior motive.

I've been developing a stand-a-lone website that you can keep track of all your items and various other things and I've finally got it to a point where I'd like some outside opinions.

Me, Linux and Tummz are all apart of this, so if you need any vouches by all means ask them about it. Linux had the original idea behind it, I did the coding and Tummz is the technical side of it as well as available for coding assistance.

Please note this doesn't actively tie into JSP in anyway, no automation or anything so its 100% legal.

So what you're seeing from top to bottom;

Home Page
-> Add New Items
-> View All Your Items
-> View Other Peoples FT Items (** This is a feature you enable or disable yourself, more below)
-> View Your ISO List
-> View Guild List
-> Logout

Add New Items

As you can see from the third image we have a nice little form for you to fill out about your items. Now the nice thing is, if you'll notice I simply copied the entire text of an item and stuck it in the "Parse Item Info" box. After doing so when you hit the "Parse Item" button it will automatically pull the Item Name, Item Level and Item Stats from that box and place them into the correct boxes, as shown in the image below that.

You also have other things to put in there -

-> Item Category = A quick way to find your items later on, IE: Dex Armor, EE Dagger, LIGHT CHARM ect. ect. When you set it to that, you'll be able to filter your entire list to only show your items with whatever category you want.
-> Item Location = Where you currently store it to keep track of it even further. IE: MISC 1, MISC 3, MELEE ect. ect. Or if it is Loaned Out to another user, put their name there so you know who has it (More on Statuses Below)
-> Item ID = Just like on JSP, you can put the item ID in here and then when you click the Item ID on your inventory list it will bring you to the Item History page on JSP for that item.
-> FG Value = As it states, the $$$ amount you want to assign to that item
-> Item Type = The generic item types JSP gives you "Weapons" "Charms" "Items" ect. ect. which can be used in the filtering process when viewing your items to give you more options to find items quickly.
-> Status = The current status of the item. If its "Owned", "Borrowed", "Loaned Out", "For Trade" "ISO" Ect. ect. so once again you can filter your item list to find certain items and also the button on the home page for "View ISO List" are the items you list as "ISO"

"View All Items"

This is the second image you see, it is purely a list of all the items you have in your inventory. From here you can edit, remove and look up the item history. You'll see at the top all the different ways you can filter it. Simply select how you want to filter it and then type in the parameters and off you go

"View Others List"

In here you can set your specific table to pubic or private. If a user has chosen their table to be public you may select that particular table and view their entire "For Trade" item inventory. This makes for a neat way to quickly look through other peoples FT items without having to sift through topics.

"View ISO List"

Just as it sounds, any items you have set as "ISO" will show up here so you can keep track of items you still need for your sets.

"View Guild List" is a neat one

When you register with the site you get your guild assigned to you. When adding / editing an item you have the option to set the status as "Loanable" and if your inventory is public, your other guildies may view these items so they can request items to borrow if need be. Only your guildies can see your items, no one else

And that's pretty much it.

I also have a Windows application that runs off of the same Database and is a bit more robust, but since some people are Mac users I felt it necessary to do a Web version as well, also some people will be hesitant about downloading and running software they don't know. But the Windows application is the stronger way to go, since I also have things like "Resources" that have all the common guides / charts for Ladder Slasher embedded into it.

Sorry for the wall, but I wanted to explain it in as much detail as possible. If this is something you think you would use please let me know so I can get some feed back!

Thanks!
