We should have fishing rods lose dura
When a fish is missed
Also when a disconnect happens

When the rod finnaly loses all dura and you miss a fish it breaks
?

Yes/no?

Don't fish much myself anymore but with a small amount of experience I can definitely see the benefit of this being implemented so "Yes" from me. Especially with higher level, expensive rods this would be a nice quality of life addition imo.

E: I think they should be able to have no durability or reach no durability and still be usable but once they fall below the 0 threshold after a fail, disconnect, etc they should poof.

Yes from me but I’d still like disconnects to cause the attempt to be aborted instead of be penalized.

Another thought that popped up in my mind was:

Fishing clearly doesn’t work as it should at the moment. Seeing how rods are going to snap within minutes to hours of fishing, what if they just lost 5-10 durability each time you fail rather than losing the rod until it’s possible for it to work as intended?

And then once it reaches 0 durability break it? I'm not against this idea. What about rods that don't have the durability mod? They still instant break, I presume.

If someone will make a poll regarding this rod change and we have a majority consensus, I'll get it done.

Awesome fix for you fishermen/woah-men. :D

I did re read it. While disconnects are still happening.

Or your suggest we will only lose a rod with zero dura when we d/c

So if a rod has durability, if u d/c or what would normally break a rod now, would lower the total durability left on the rod
