I was hoping this was no longer the case. I mean, 2 trapdoors, solo, still went 20 levels in this maze, all in hopes of a decent level map, or at least decent mods.

https://prnt.sc/mizx89

Isn't it kind of sad that in lvl 1 mazes I can gain t4 and t5 maps with 5-7 mods, but this... Call me crazy, but I honestly believe the garbage quality of maps in higher level mazes, which take an extremely large amount of extra effort to complete should be addressed.

That is all.

Don't get me wrong. This is not the first, second, or even 5th time. In the space of 2.6 solo runs, this is the 6th maze at or above level 20 spawn that gives garbage.

I'm naturally unlucky. I get it. Odds could be 99.99% that it'll be better, I'll be the .01. Still. This is not a basic gear drop. This is the very thing that makes exploring a full maze worthwhile. Otherwise, nasty dead-end? New game. NN to sacrifice the EP potential for garbage.

Entirely agree. I'm fine with maps stats being varied spawn. Magical lvl 50 map? Oh well just the way it is.

But exploring a lvl 60 map, which takes over 6 hours, not even counting the risk of a 1 second disconnect ruining all your gain (a other should be addressed problem), t o gain one magical patched map... It's sickening to the stomach.

Don't see why every single maze that's close to the maximum size shouldn't drop a close to the maximum map every single time as well..

It's completely pointless fully exploring a maze larger than 15x15 or even less

Once every 5 million mazes you'll get a nice map and it won't be high enough anyway

If you spend all that time you wasted exploring explored space to finish all these mazes, you'll find dozens and dozens of times more eps than waiting for a map with eps to drop.. even if you drop a 60 eps 55 map ( which won't ever happen )

And that's not taking into account that often this happens: ( Fell in a TD 20-30 explored bars later )

This is extremely frustrating I've been there so many times I am not even disappointed by the result anymore (and I've only been back playing again for a short time now).

Side note - one factor that made the game appealing to me was the most recent update to the game and the work Paul was starting to put into the game again. Does anyone know is he still working on things? (I know he has the whole site to worry about I'm just curious if anyone has insight on this)

Can’t say for sure, but it would appear that Paul rage quit on LS because the LS community was ungrateful, constantly bitching, and would not beta test during the last update.
