Hi,

I've recently returned to the game and I'd like to play with some folks.
I see there are some climbs but it looks like most of them are premade ones. I've managed to find people to do 1 climb but it's been a few days ago and I can't seem to find people to play with to make a full party and climb from 1. If I get 2 people in a party that's a miracle :(

e/ SC

Pretty simple, teach new players better ^^

The LS playerbase is simply so small that groups most of the day will be difficult to find. I've solo'd ~16 of my runs, occasionally i might join up with someone around 60 if i'm using a mage and they're using a tank (rarely vice versa as very few players climb with just their mage and warlock players usually are part of the 1-MQ groups groups)
I've worked on helping ~5-6 new players in the past month, unfortunately the amount of items available of cheap calibre isn't enough so they pretty much all get stuck at 55ish. I sometimes carry them over the line but it's not really the same

Being in a LS guild will help as they are more likely to involve you in their group climbs.

I have gear to climb solo (at least for the first 3 classes) but it's way faster and more enjoyable to play in a party :)
I guess I may look into finding an LS-oriented guild :)

Thanks for your input.

i cant speak for all group... but the biggest problem will be... I don't know you so i will check your character and what i see is a
10 str armor and a 9 str charm

when you can get alot better for 1-3fg each lol

get atleast good ee armors ( 100+ee for lvl 20 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 ) so you can go full vita and you can be a "decent" tank atleast

I have my items in my vault
e/ I can tank without any problems and my 55 lvl armor with 150+ ee is enough to tank to lvl 83 which I did just a few days ago.
I didn't know I have to carry all my 1-83 gear on me at all times so people can validate me in order to play with me. I change my gear every few levels so I don't have enough space to show my items off. Should I have like 1-30 and then my MQ stuff just to show people that I can be played with?

e/ I don't see why these 0 lvl items are bad as everything dies to a single hit anyways ^_^

pls show me that you can cast/attack multistrike with 12% charge and all momster die with one hit :)

obv you onehit everything with normal attacks.... but the game is around abilities and it makes a different in speed

/E: and you dont have to carry all your gear... i would have just asked if you have tank gear... and with 150 ee you are more than welcome in most public groups ^^

and on topic ... most player play currently either D2 or Poe both with new ladders/season... In a few weeks the player base should raise again

Make a group, let him join and show him... simple, if he has decent gear, he has decent gear... fuck your one off bullshit attitude and start helping out.

@ topic, sorry, I play HC and basically on solo, goodluck in your friendly group hunt runs.

I appreciate your input as it helps me understand how people treat those out of the community :D I got your point and it's understandable.
I hope people return to the game as you say :)

Imo your best bet is to fill a tank role until people know who you are, what your actions are like typically, if you play and play well doors to the "elitist" groups will open. However if you finish a climb with 2k actions and less than 1m dmg they will probably ignore you into oblivion. People come and go pretty quick around here so its the unfortunate but majority of cases someone comes to "make fg" and wants to be drug through a climb(s). Once you are seen as a fixture in the community you will get into more climbs. However the effort must be shown if you want to be successful because many people would rather not climb at all than climb and have to carry someone elses weight.

edit: that being said --- ive been playing pretty consistently for over a year now and unless i get real lucky 2-3 climbs a day is about the max i can expect.

I see, thank you.
It seems the community is both friendly to new people and closed to new people at the same time haha.
