Hay guys! :)

I have an idea what could be a "redemption" to players who don't have enough time for a full climb or just wanna try out something really challenging.

My idea is the following:
If you explore a full map in normal mode and find maps at the end there's a chance for a Raid map drop. The chance is low for sure.









When you use Raid map it turn to be really special, looks like this:








The rules on this map:
  • The size of the map is always the same. (~30 mins could be enough to finnish it with decent gear)
  • There's no lvl requiements on the map. You can use it on every lvl
  • Level of the mobs is higher than you. In solo: +10-15 lvl, 2 man group: 15-25 lvl, 3 man group: 25-35 lvl, 4 man group: 35-45 lvl, 5 man group: 50+ lvl
  • +30% Higher Item Quality
  • +10% Proficiency Gain
  • At the end: Super Chest (a really super one)
  • At the end: +10% Chance to get +1 guild point
  • No trap doors
  • You can't whistle on a Raid map
  • The quantity of the map is always 1

I guess this would make the solo game more interesting and if you don't have time for a full climb or no1 is on you can try your luck for that +1 gp or just enjoy the fun of strong mobs. :)

Probably need to balance out some of that awesomeness...

No guild points.
No "super" super chest.
Yes lvl requirements.
As far as I know you can't whistle on regular maps anyway.
As far as I know you can't hit TD's on regular maps anyway.
No better Item quality (high lvl mobs should take care of that. NN to stack it)

I'm guessing the core of this idea is the difficulty of the mobs and a challenging game mode. The difficulty of the mobs should have a positive effect on drops, and the difficulty should mean higher prof gain anyway.

Not saying I don't like the idea, (though as a hard core player I don't think I'd be trying it) but you've gotta think about a balance as well.

i like it. just delete the whistle rule . you cannot whistle on any map anyway

i think the level difference is to high aswell, but hey, cool ideas overall !

Remove prof gain as I think he has said that will never be changed, other than that I don't see the point of the map because fighting higher level monsters can already be done with whistle, monster difficulty is what you should be looking for. Voted no until it is thought out more.

I would like to point out that one monster difficulty map does nearly everything on there... maybe you have never done one?

You can whistle higher mobs, but you won't find any EPS. On Raid map you have chance and they would be really challenging.

I don't think Paul has any problem with +10% prof gain on a special map like this. The currently running event gives more prof now on some way.

And what you pointed out is okay, but on lvl 30+ map you may spend hours coz too big and may you over level it, you know what I mean... :) My idea would work as a quest what gives you special rewards instead of using an average map.

I made the lvl req rather high (especially for 3+ players) coz I wanted to avoid farming situation. :)
