The Contest will begin on Friday June 3rd at 7pm Central time.

While doing countless hours of Transmuting I had been trying to think of ways to help the HardCore Community recruit a few people from SoftCore. Late one night I decided to just make a post for a Contest and see how it went. While I was sleep PapaRick stepped in to help and it exploded. I had so many supporters that I had to Cap the funds for the contest. Before the first person had even Master Quested there was talk about Contest #2.

This is a Simple Contest. The first 5 SoftCore Players to Complete a HardCore Master Quest will win an equal share of the pot. The pot will be capped at 2,500 fg. 500 per player.

In the first Contest there was not any time for people to really plan ahead and prepare for it. So this go around I want people to be able to prepare and plan for it. On Friday June 3rd at 7pm Central time will be the start. This will give people time to collect gear and giver the HC Community time to find some common items and list them up (hopefully for just 1 fg ) for the contestants to use.

With all that being said lets get to the Rules.

01. It does not matter what Guild you are in or if you are Guildless.
02. A maximum of 10% warn (no locked,scammer etc also) to be eligible.
03. If you are serious about entering this contest please send a message to PapaRick with a link to your Character that you wish to enter.
04. Your Ladder Slasher profile must show that you have Zero Master Quests attempted in HardCore. It is ok to have leveled up men in HC but your entrance into the Contest must be a lvl 1.
05. How you get to MQ doesnt matter, or if you borrow gear from people. (Be sure to click the link my sig to see who is buying what in HC so you can sell skillable items also while you are leveling up.)
06. There is no time limit on this Contest. The first 5 people to lvl 71 will win 20% of the pot (up to 500 fg each).
07. If you entered the first Contest you may re-enter this one as long as you did not MQ on the entered Character. You may either make a new lvl 1 or reroll.

If someone would like to donate to the prize funds for this Contest please send it to PapaRick with a note and it will be added to the pot. If you wish to be Anonymous just message Rick and let him know. Any funds over 2,500 will be carried over for Contest #3

Please make sure all Communication to PapaRick is clearly for HardCore (there is a SoftCore Contest going on at the same time)

You should switch it up a bit and allow people with <5 mq's to enter

Yea, it's about getting people to start getting carried to mq once on hc, so they can get some fg to spend on sc, not about people who are going to keep playing hardcore. The fuck is this kid thinking?

You never know, you never know. If at least 1 person out of 20 decides to switch or try more HC, this contest will be a win

Take your happy pills and relax man. The guy is doing good work, either join in and lend a hand or get out of his way, capiche? People like you are why the newer slasher is afraid to even speak for themself. Get a grip.
