A nice thing I noticed with the skill I play "fishing" is that I can catch fishes with lower level rods such as a level 5 rod with 47 dura. I could catch 2 out of every 6 fish at level 23 fishing.
In the old version this was totally not possible. Not sure about cooking yet if it is easier or not but, one thing im kinda concerned about is the usefulness of fish now that people can shrine wile in a well and in a group in cata. Fish might have a nice usefulness in pvp but idk yet.
Post your experiences thoughts and comments about some cool things you might of found that people might not be aware of yet.

As for me im not so sure if I will continue fishing atm. Might be better for me to just play more catacombs and wait for fish to be more useful later on after more updates are added?

Unfortunately I don't think there is any need for fish. I think in most duels it would be considered BM.

IMHO Skills were never and should never have been a main focus for players.

Everyone I know and speak to tell me that they only keep doing it because they have invested so much time already that they just can't stop.
Playing the game will get you so much further ahead than solely focusing on skills.

The game is not difficult at all.



Couldn't you solo maze before and find heavies? Nothing has really changed except that your actually FORCED to do this, lol.

some people have not inclination towards resetting the ladder. They play the game because they enjoy it or a certain aspect of it. Most players appreciate the simplicity of ladder slasher and things like skilling are a nice way for many to unwind at the end of the day. Much of this is changing and people are concerned....as they are at every major update.

I doubt it. Heavies were just un-findable in arena, you could still get them in catacombs. now EVERYTHING has to be done in catacombs. mutability won't have altered.

No, you could not solo catacombs before (not past low levels, anyway). Imagine going in, and facing 5 mobs, and not being able to run to town to heal and resume combat. You didn't make it farther than 1 step in most cases.
