I dunno how the best way to execute this is, and I don't think I'm the first person to think of this, but we should be able to cancel drop pick-ups before the timer runs out. I often will accidentally click on a junk item and it's a strug to wait for the timer to run out and then trash it. Also, there have been times where I am in a game with friends and automatically click on an item of trivial value, only realizing after I clicked that someone else in the group could use it a lot more than me.

So yeah, it would be cool if there was a tiny X which appeared somewhere or something like that so we could cancel drop pick-ups. Comments?

No. I can just imagine myself almost getting a heart attack and accidentally double-click on that 280ee sword

I don't understand how people can "accidentally" loot an item. I mean, you got ATLEAST five seconds to check the stats

Simple solution -- don't click unless you really want an item.

And, if you don't want to pick anything up at all then simply slide the pick-up box off-screen so that you cannot accidentally click on any of the drops.

Not so simple rebuttal.

Some of us can react pretty fast, but not always with 100% accuracy. This leads to human error, something everyone at some point in their life will encounter. I have clicked wrong items usually while driving and trying to react fast. I drive with my item box open, simply because I enjoy grabbing loot that can be potentially sexy. You on the other hand rarely play with the item box open, so you would not encounter this nearly as often.




I voted yes, with the addition that you can SIMPLY click the item again to grab. Makes perfect sense to me.
