Before voting, this is just a simple singular "Innate Ability" for these three(3) character classes just like "Rogue, Monk and Ninja" who can "Detect Trap Doors".

So: Mage, Warlock & Alchemist can "Detect Flash(Spin) Traps" and the driver can either use the trap or ignore it and continue exploring.

If you come up with some other "Innate" abilities for other character classes, please post, and hopefully readers can add to your post for another Suggestion type thread.

I think we should give the guardian class the innate abilities of:

Detect trapdoors
Detect spin traps
Detect evil presences
Detect emblems
Detect treasure chests
Detect Rex suggestion topics

And then maybe a few more people will play it!

I don’t think the classes you suggested need any buffs. People already play ‘em lots.

Okay... then let us REMOVE Trap Door detection classes "Rogue, Monk & Ninja" ... how do you three(3) think about that then???


EDIT: You know what people, I thought about it logically... Rogue / Monk / Ninja detects trap does because of their class... the trap door is not magical... so I thought "hey, Spin/Flash traps are magical, so how about Mage, Warlock & Alchemist detecting them?"

But what the hey... just keep shitting on my suggestions even though it would benefit all climbs whether Solo or group or ending up in a dead end and there is a Spin/Flash trap not far away and you can gamble on it. What would I know right

I think you misread my post, your post was pointed toward Guardian, my thread only implicates Mage / Warlock & Alchemist classes just the same as a Rogue / Monk & Ninja who already has the Innate ability to Detect trap doors.

EDIT: Sorry... misread your post, but I would think a Guardian Innate ability should be able to "Collect" any "Warm Light" in the catacomb and use them like Multi-Heal? something to that effect when needed instead of casting a Heal and not using mana. Could also include Paladin with the same Innate ability.

Agree. Whatever class gets played the least the year before should get all the buffs for the next year. So basically it’ll always be guardian.

I may be weong but dont most warlocks/headhunters/alchemists only do group whistles to 101 and dinse and repeat until ladder reset….which would make this idea mostly useless?

Well... to be honest... having a Trap Door detector (Rogue, Monk or Ninja) in a group that wants to complete Mirror Maze objective in combination with either a Mage, Warlock or Alchemist in group detecting "Spin/Flash traps" would make a "Mirror Maze" objective a hell of a lot easier... and the level 101 added bonus is just that. For Softcore... this is quite OP for Guild Point hunting.

EDIT: Maybe I should put it in a different light.

Imagine the season has been reset. (Alchemist unlocking all keys) and everyone starts from Feeder Class. Now, how about players completing the objective Mirror Maze even though the group are only Feeder classes... Rogue (detect traps) and Mage (detects Spin/Flash traps) with Tanker(s) (Barb, Fighter, Guardian) ... 3 Feeder character classes nominated minimum: Mage (Caster/Healer + Spin Trap Detector), Rogue (Melee or middle tanker and Trap Door Detector) and let us say, Guardian as a Tanker + Healer in the front ... so 3 spots taken... Barb & Fighter for melee damage output.

Thus... an adequate group balance for feeders to complete Mirror Maze as a goal or part of the norm.

I always love playing Rogue/Monk just because of this ability to detect traps.
Having other classes get a useful ability would be awesome imo.
Something like "Barb cant be Flashed/Teleported because is too fat" or "Samurai hits normal speed with long sword"

Samurai hits normal speed with longsword would be so overpowered that I cannot in good conscience advocate for it :o

Cool idea in general though :)
