The graphics are pretty amazing for a free mmorpg. But dont expect graphics like Guild Wars or something. And also know, that LARGE mmorpg's doesnt really focus on graphics, but more on gameplay. And i must say, the gameplay of Knight Online is pretty good. U have lots of things to do. There are many ways to make money, and a huge assortiment of monsters u can slay. The maps are pretty big. And there is enough people (i would say more then enough) to play with.
U know there are two races, Humans and dirty Orcs (i say dirty because i always played humans, but i guess Orcs are really dirty from nature

)
If u were goin to start the game, and wonder which character you would make, i would say its completly up to u, and it depends on your way of playing.
Are u the more active player, and a wanabe hero (

), then i would recommend you the warrior. Why? The warriors are the first defensive line anywhere.
In major wars, they are the ones who run in the first line. In leveling parties (lvl60+ parties), they are the ones who are tanking the damage by the mobs.
Offcourse there are other leveling parties, involving mages (like harpy parties), but overall, the warrior takes the job of damage dealer and tanker.
In your are the kind of player who backs the warrior up, in the meaning of dealing damage, but when needed retreats quickly, then the rogue is your character.
The rogue is also the one who gives the party more speed and damage (swift and wolf skills).
The warrior is pure melee, a pure tanker and damage dealer.
The rogue can deal serious damage, but wouldnt be able to tank as a warrior, and u chose between a ranger (bow) and a assasin (knives).
Then u have the mage. The mage was the underdog in Knight Online. The mage has good skills, but because of the items a warrior and rogue can equip, it makes the damage done by a mage look like a kiss. But the mage comes in handy in PvP parties, where it can slow down enemies and even stun them. It deals alot of damage, but it has to keep its distance. Once a good equipped warrior comes close to a mage, there is no way the mage can handle the warrior.
But that is over with the new patch on UsKo now. The mage became a very powerfull character, with its stun abilities, and skills to improve its damage. Pretty good character now. AND the mage is the cheapest character to equip.
Then there is the priest. Im not gonna say it the heart of every party, but when it comes to it, a priest can either make u survive anything, or make u die.
There are two kinds of priest. First kind of priest is the FULL SUPPORTER. It focuses on backing a party with buffs and heals. The supporter can add more life to your base life. It can add more defense, more strenght, more resistance and so on... And it heals you, when you are damaged. A must have in every party, whether its pvp or pvm.
Then there is the other kind The Battle Priest. It has batte skills, like skills to do more damage, and it has the ability to DEBUFF a opponent. Lower its life, lower its defense, lower its resistance and so on. Some people say, that the Battle Priest is the hardest to master, but once u mastered it, u can own everyone else.
In PvP parties, this kind of character are most wanted. A warrior is TWICE as strong with a battle priest backing him up. Lower defence means more damage
So... Its completly up to you.
I play a warrior, and i dont want anything else. A warrior is pretty abscent and not needed for a long time. But when it hits lvl 62+, it becomes the most feared character in wars and pvp areas.
There is no really dominant PvP character, but a very well equipped Warrior can take alot and deal alot. In parties, with a supporting priest and a battle priest, along with a rogue and a well equipped warrior, u have to do you absolutly best to defeat that warrior. And a party with 5 warriors, 1 rogue, 1 battle priest, 1 supporting priest, is LOL. Then will rape anyone

But then again, Knight Online has a PvP system, that allows better playing dudes (in the meaning of better comboing, better sliding and so on) kill dudes with extremly high equippment but low personal skills. So alot of personal skills in involved in the PvP.
So the dominant one, is mostly the one who is a really master in controlling his mouse and buttons.
But i must also add, if u look at every server, Myko Usko Japko and bla bla bla, the best players usually habe a warrior. So...?
The whole game is about PvP. U play for houuuuuurs and houuuuuurs to level and get better items, just to PVP. There is also a questing side, but its more like quests like, kill 30 of that monster, kill 250 of that, kill 400 of that and bla bla bla. So its all about leveling killing mobs leveling killing mobs leveling killing mos and soooooo on... Untill u reached a decent level (i would recommend maximum level before u start PvP). Then all you do is PvP, if u have decent gear.
Or u just spend time on High Level mobs, to get good items for marketing. Often the highest and best weapons are very very expensive. (obvious

)
Its more like WoW. The game is very big, and u play with thousands on the same server. Graphics are 3d, not 2d and are pretty nice.
There is a large assortiment of items, but nothing like Diablo

. The end items of the character are all the same, and u dont have much option.
Like EVERY maximum level warrior either uses a Raptor, or Totamic Spear/Graham...
Like EVERY maximum level rogue uses a Shards or Dark Vanes...
Item hunting is very popular in Knight Online, but gotta be very well organized and be quick to be able to kill the Bosses, who can drop very expensive shit like Iron Necklaces and Iron Belts, Ring of Courage's, Ring of Life's and so on... But really, thats only if u have a very well organized party or clanparty, and are the first to see the boss. Because the first who gets to the boss, kills it.
anyways,
overall,
its a very fun game when your high level and do item-hunting and pvp and so.
before a decent level (65+), the game is only about leveling leveling leveling and trying to add up some gold. So it gets boring very quickly,
but really once u are well equipped, and 65+, and u have acces to eslant (big boss hunting

), are strong enough to go to cz, and involve in wars...
then the real game starts. Nothing beats the fun of a 8 man lvl 70+ party, who runs the whole night around hunting orcs and searching for bosses.
Its very intense since Orcs hunt on you to, and with decent play u can ambush parties and stuff. So its quite fun. Very intense when u meet anoth lvl 70+ party.

hmmm... yeah, i recommend this game
But let me also make u aware, there are times where u cant enter the game when u are not a Premium Member (read didnt payed to play), but when u just spamm the server, keep trying to login and stuff, u eventually get in
And let me also make u aware of the amount of turkish people who play the game... I admit, there are some annoying turkish kids who will beg for portal money, or they will insist in joining your party and so on. But really, its not hard to avoid them completly. If u avoid them, they give up and go away very easly. They will often call u names if u avoid them

hehe. But the game is really fun once u level up and have good gear, since those turkish kids are mostly stuck in the game and dont know what to do

And maybe another advice, is playing on MyKO. That is Malasian Knight Online. There is still a level 70 cap, on usko its lvl 80. And the MyKo is still in a earlier stage of Knight Online then the UsKo Patch. In the meaning of, the developers of the game sells the patches to the distributors. If a distributor wants to buy the patch, it can. If it cant buy the patch, it just stays in a earlier stage untill it buys the patch. So MyKo is still in a earlier stage, but the servers are less crowded, and maybe more fun. Its easy to make a good leveling party. Like every "good high level" character knows eachother. And often plays with eachother, no mather clan and so on. In short, MyKo is smaller (like maximum 1000 players on 1 server), but in my opinion more fun. But then there is that login problems... and lag... The servers are not as good as Usko.
anyways,
ask away if u wanna know more or if i didnt replied a question or whatso ever.
ciao
