Every time I download it, it doesn't work. Stops at the "Checking patch"

if u use vista try to open the game as an administrator , and let it patch

i was on ko4life before , it's a knightonline forum, u should post ur question in this forum

KOL just needs to go from windows internet explorer to mozilla firefox and then the programs might actually run correctly

Well download the 1708.exe. Then once you have that, go into start, knight online, options. In the right corner of the popup options box, there should be a version number. Change it to 1730 and load contents of this update. Then click apply and go. Double click knight online icon on your desktop, and it should patch.
