Yes you can buy gold for your server using forum gold.

If you are from USA, I recommend playing on server Carnac West, it is 90% english speaking.

For new players, I suggest Human side(El Morad), and either a Magician or a Rogue.

The fastest way to gain levels is to complete quests, or find a good group to kill mobs with.
