Hi,

I am about to quit Diablo II for this game.

I would like to ask for tips.

How many servers are there? Or is it just one world?

How should I start off as? Just to farm gold and build my main character later for player versus player.

How is the pvp system there?

Many thanks in advanced.

Hardware/Software Minimum Requirement Recommended
Operating System Windows 98/2000/XP/ME Windows 98/2000/XP/ME
CPU Celeron 300 or above Pentium II 400 or above
Memory 128 MB or above 256 MB or above
Hard Disk Space 400MB or above 600MB or above
Video Card 16MB or above 3D Display Cards with DirectX support 32MB or above 3D Display Cards with DirectX support
Additional Software DirectX 8.1 or Above

I believe my computer can handle those specs. I have just about enough for recommended specs. =D

Anyone have special starting guides? I'll join the North American server.

theres no designated "North American" server, on every server its predominantly turks.

of course theres plenty of english clans and english players, im currently on Beramus server in an all english clan

gameplay, if you want to level fast and get into parties easily i recommend making a buff/heal priest, and you can add 3 into holy spirit to gain malice and you can turn yoruself into a battle priest that can be effective in pvm.

farming, usually best done by a mage with aoe ( area of effect ) attacks or assassins since they can easily take down bosses with vampiric touch and blood drain.

warriors are overall tanks but best for pvp

archers are all around decent chars, but not very popular in my opinion.

mage wise:

fire/ice - most popular and most damage

ice/light - good for slowing monsters to kill more effectively

light/ice - mainly for pvp.

fire = damage
ice = slow
light = stun

starting out i would eitehr be a buff/heal battle priest or a assassin rouge.

try to get into an english clan, being in a clan can be alot more helpful than being on your own

be patient in the market because prices are constantly fluctuating, patience in the long run can save you loads of money.

That sums up the basics for someone who has not started playing yet.

The Game is F2P but some people like to say that its P2P since the servers are often full earlier in the day and you are able to login 24/7 with any monthly Premium. About servers, the english-only server is called Carnac-West and its only open to north america and some european countries but the server is quite empty compared to the others.

I play in the Diez server but it may be best to go to a newer server (bottom of the list), I heard that Girakon has a healthy community of english speaking players but avoid Carnac-East.

If you ever have questions about KO then send me a pm on d2jsp on the ko4life fansite (google it) and I will help you out.

KO is a PvP Game

Play on cwest if you want to enjoy they game with english speakers.

Also start off as a mage and put all your points into fire untill you get settled in. They are cheap, good damage, and get into exp parties easily. After you get a good handle pm me and ill give you a good fan site where guides are.
