Pros:

easy for beginners
group-based PvP
events (there's an event almost every hour, and events typically yield nice rewards)
weapons look bad ass (gud for RP lulz)
easy quests (some people don't like this, as most of the quests are killing quests)
FREE, membership & PuS (power-up store) are completely opitional
PvP takes skill, somewhat anyway..


Cons:

most of the players are Turkish
fucking Turks are annoying
loads of hackers & botters, but don't be fooled, K2 still bans botters (i'm on a 48 hr ban atm lol)
PvP seems like a clusterfuck at first, unless you're a healer
very buggy, due to old programming
no story or plot
K2 is a terrible company and has a bad reputation for leaving bugs unpatched for months on end
lack of helpful information on the web (they've recently closed the old forums and the information is now inaccessible, there is a new forum though)


it's pretty damn good for a F2P mmorpg, much better than Runescape

and buying gold is easy, as the mods don't care about that kind of thing

PvP is outstanding, faction vs. faction wars....enough said

Play Carnac West server if you speak english, and prefer that to be the only language spoken (for the most part)

THe only downside is that it is very hard to acquire the top tier items, making it tough for beginners to compete at the PvP level as older members.

With that being said, if you try your luck at the anvil, and upgrade items, you can generate wealth very quickly.
