i would go mage, pump MP, and skill fire and any remaining points into ice.

start by killing monsters equivalent to your ability, once you hit lvl 35 go to either el mora castle or lufertson, and head to the graveyard to join "AOE" parties.

you will level very fast as a mage, and you can farm gavolts and sell their wings.

PFFF dont start a mage mage sux.... maybe they hit hard etc but when i run whit my warrior in CZ( ronak land) and i see a mage dam i go straight at it and rape is ass off. they ar squishy
Knight online is a free to play game but let me tell you this if i buy a platinium prem i can get level 55 in a week and if i play for free it will take me 6 mouth
This game dont have alot of quest and You need to grinde all of your exp by killing mob and whiout prenium it sux... so the best tip i can tell you buy yourself 1 prenium lvl as fast as you can in 1 mouht and take the knight cash to buy scroll.
And sell your scroll and trina stars for money to gears you up. Ho and for the class chose the one you like the most exept mage vause if you dont know how to play a mage you will end up dying all the time whit you 200hp and 3 defense at lvl 30....

new players should make a mage or rogue, you have to be joking with warrior.

mage is the best money making class in the game, you dont need great gear, and it is the fastest leveler without PREMIUM, if you know what you're doing.

i started with a mage.. worked great for makeing money and lvling. after that. i made a rouge and just rented all my gear everyday till i got like 400m to buy my own stuff

In all honesty my answer to the 'any tips for starting out' would be......DON'T

Game went downhill 2-3yrs ago.

it's really personal opinion.

this game is great, if you don't put money into it and are looking for a low profile MMO to kill time, this is the game
