But I like betting the minimum bet and winning what the person(s) before me were betting.

Gambling is the business of taking peoples money, flashing it in front of different people in an attempt to take more money and repeat.

But then again most online video games now-a-days are built on the premise of gambling. Diablo 2 even as an example. You're hoping for that 1 in # chance for a drop. Dopamine rises when the item appears, not after you ID it.
You get a dopamine rush before you play the gambling machine, when you put your money into it but not when you lose/win. You get dopamine rush if you win because of the thoughts for which that money can now be used. Not because you won it.

If you gamble, you will loose in the long run.
