2 things are true about Conor, he is on the typical path to financial and mental ruin as a young man at the top of his game and with all the money and fame he could ever imagine living recklessly

and he is good at exciting casuals and his nut huggers. What he does works and as long as his training and skill back up his mouth he will keep doing it and keep bringing in eyes with it

often times in fights it's not about wanting to see someone win it's about wanting to see someone like Conor or mayweather lose which is just as profitable

as far as being scared he isn't scared. He wouldn't fight khabib if he didn't believe in himself and his abilities he would dodge and strike an easier opponent at the right time like many do in professional fighting

if he gasses he is done with a guy like khabib, if he slips up or can't hit his mark he is done with a guy like khabib

but he knows he can put khabib down early if he can connect, he's quick and he's strong and for the first 2 rounds you cannot make mistakes anywhere near that left hand of his

Conor's strategy is always the same. Study the opponent's mental weaknesses exploit them, anger the opponent, opponent gets emotional and forgets the game plan and he rocks them

That doesn't work on a guy like Diaz but it really doesn't work on a guy like khabib. Khabib has lived in a different world his entire life. A much more raw existence than what many of these fighters have seen including Conor. Conor cant shake him.

This fight has too many variables for me to make a confident pick but the assumption is round 1 or 2 for Conor if by ko or khabib survives while Conor gasses and khabib mauls the shit out of him for a few rounds

I'd give Conor the edge in most fights in the first 2 rounds due to ko power and the skill to set up that shot but I'm always rooting for khabib
