So I saw a crow flapping around on the ground on the street, I figured it was hurt so I grabbed it and took it home.
Apparently his crow-family noticed what I did and followed me, and now I have 15~ crows from 5 AM to 5 PM harassing my home, dive bombing and shitting on anyone that goes in the backyard. Reading online, it looks like it's a normal thing for baby crows to spend some time on the floor learning how to fly, and the parents continue looking after them.
I don't want to abduct this bird from his gang of crows but I sort of want to abduct this bird from his gang of crows, and form a new gang with me, the bird, and my dog.
Am I wrong for this? I figure my dog has a similar origin story of being ripped away from her parents at a young age just to be my pet, so at least they'll have things in common.
