This isn’t funny anymore. This is the kind of thing that should make people uneasy.

MrBeast isn’t just some YouTuber tossing out random hypotheticals. He builds massive experiments around human behavior, and now he’s openly talked about getting into politics… even becoming president
Read that poll again and really think about it. It’s a scenario where most people die unless humanity can perfectly trust each other. And the entire premise hinges on the fact that we probably wouldn’t.

That’s not just a “what would you do” question. That’s a test of fear and how fast people turn on each other when there’s even a hint of risk.

Now imagine someone who thinks like this scaling that mindset up.
At what point does this stop being content and start feeling like someone studying exactly how people break under pressure?
Because if you wanted to understand how to control outcomes, predict behavior, or exploit fear… this is exactly how you’d start.

We are fucked.

logically everyone should just act in their own self-interest since that results in the optimal outcome (people who want to live can push red, and people who want to die can push blue), but realistically a ton of dumbasses are just going to push blue because they don't understand the question or because it feels like the right thing to do, and then probably a ton more people are going to push blue in anticipation of people like that to try to protect them

still pushing red tbh but I'm cheering for team blue on the inside
