Since i like you so much (i really do ^^), and you like me so much, judging by the answers to the last thread ^^ Here's a crazy funny story i just happened to think of, so i might as well share it ^^ With my keyboard, i write fast, won't take 15 minutes ^^
So .. back 20 years ago when i was masoning with the insane boss. We got a new apprentice with us. My boss was trying to build up his company. The apprentice wasn't a complete tool .. he was okay enough. Gemini. Quite level-headed, but didn't quite listen when i tried to teach him.
Either way, he had some funny stories ^^ He went to the same class i went to (byggfag, construction trades), in high school, though 4 years after me. He told me there was a halfway disabled kid there. He had a brother that had taught him bad words ^^ They supposedly weren't bullies, just a bit funny and weird ^^ One of the phrases he had taught him, was "gæærn dumbæsj" xD Which in english is something like "crazy dumbturd" ^^
So there was a halfway bully in the class, and i think it went the way that he had bullied the disabled kid's brother a little bit. Not much, just a bit. And during a class, he (disabled kid) had just all of a sudden (sat next to him) sneakily poured a small container of milk in his jacket pocket, and when he noticed it and got crazy, he laughed "aahahhahaaa" and said "crazy dumbturd!!" and the whole class laughed their ass off ^^
I did too upon hearing the story ^^ The humor in it is that the bully couldn't or wouldn't go physical with him because he was a sort of halfway disabled kid ^^ Put him in a mental stalemate ^^ To me, that's hilarious ^^

The apprenticeship didn't end so well... he was with us about 8 months before i quit, summer till spring. I had been there about 4 years then and was beat down by the insane working conditions. We were working at a somewhat posh halfway luxury hut/villa sort of thing, glueing/masoning large stone tiles onto the basement wall - in the middle of winter ^^ My boss was savage, he didn't care, a job like that during winter in norway is pretty stupid. But he put up some tarps and rented a huge-ass diesel burner and then flew to thailand for a 3 week vacation, leaving me in charge.
On top of that, right after he went, the worst snow storm i ever seed came over us, and i simply couldn't get to work for 2 days.
When he got back, he was in a furious mood .. nothing unusual there.. i told him, i have to take a sick leave, take some time off. He said "YES, I NOTICED SOMETHING'S WRONG!!!!!" ^^ that's the last conversation i had with him ^^
The apprentice told me two years later when i bumped into him, that about 6 months after that, they had been laying bathroom tiles in a house, and they were "chatting about women", he told me ..... i could tell right then, something would happen, because my boss never chatted casually like that ^^
He told me that just suddenly, the boss had picked up a packet of tiles and threw it furiously into the wall so it smashed to pieces ^^ that's about 5 kg it weighs. The apprentice quit shortly after that, or got fired, idk. The boss quit too and went to work for the police, as a jailer or what you call it.
Also, when they were finished tiling the bathroom, they were 1 packet of tiles short ^^ I still chuckle when i think about it ^^
Crazy days. So my advice to any young-uns... mind your boss. Don't work for psychopaths. Map the market, find the best working environment, even if the pay is lower than elsewhere. If you gonna work for a psycho - better be ready to tolerate the asshole-ness. Even if you do your work and then some, it's never going to be good enough. Sort of like gordon ramsay, only worse. You'll never hear anything positive, even when you know you do well.
