While watching True Crime pods where there is not a lot of narration (when it comes to exploring the law, I think that the narration of content creators takes away from the actual story and/or facts) and an unfiltered glimpse of the police/detective work needed to catch someone who has taken a life or has harmed a child, I cannot but think of how patient the cops/detectives are who are working these cases. Years go by and they cannot just grab the perp for fear of not enough evidence which may lead to a jury declaring the perp free. Yet, 5, 10, sometimes 50 years later, they have what is needed for justice to do its thang. God/Goddess level patience.
