Imagine a lifespan of 27 and not being buried until 72

Ah! Those are the types of lives where the person thinks this may be the year, then, again, this may be the year... up 'til they are 72. I can imagine people with reoccurring terminal cancer or some other health condition may live that difficult rollover coaster of life.

they are something else before they become a mayfly. larva? how long are they in the larva stage?

True, in their aquatic life stage, as you have shared as a larvae/nymph, they my live up to 3 years in that form. Then, there's a huge metamorphosis and they begin their life as a mayfly. I am fascinated by organisms that experience a metamorphosis stage or stages.



Imagine ordering a pizza... You would scream for them to come faster, so that you have a little more time for other things.

I just saw this on their site, so it has to be Papa John: "Each Papa John's pizza is carefully crafted with flavorful, superior-quality ingredients and toppings."
We have a little mom and pop shop that is Turkish owned and their pizza is out of this world. Super tasty. But, on the expensive side. So, we have to be careful as we do not want to spend more on pizza then our groceries.

I would Spend it with the Person I Love and with my Family!
