I love Dream Theater, Tool, Primus, Living Colour, and of course Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and the priceless Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Please, let us not forget Frank Zappa and the ferocious artists who surrounded him. And, Prince, too.

Yeye ofc ofc, dont forget dog pound gangsters, wutangclan and

There alot

But

Is there any better product then this album? I mean, awake is 2nd, but this one... hooooly shit still today

Can and doing whistle complete album when hearing, full solos and stuff, beatboxing the crazy rythm switches etc

Is there better production? More complicated, but still harmonic, more crazy and difficult solos on guitar or keyboard? Which in the end still brings the ONE vibe that they deliver?

And yes, posted wrong forum right? This belongs to trophy room obviosly.

Yeah! Steve Vai was only 16 when he auditioned for Zappa's band. He's played with so many and his solo work is fericious. He is one of those rare session artists who can do anything asked of them and more. And, he is wonderfully kooky, too. Kooky artists are the best.

Well, if I were to select my favourite musical artist that was born and raised in the United States, I would have to venture into Jazz and Jazz Fusion and say Miles Davis and a tight second is John Coltrane. But for Prog Rock, Dream Theater has my vote. :hail:
