Around our little neck of woods, we have a handful of these. I love when it is time for the parents to teach their young to hunt. They are squawking up a storm.

Yes. Falcons are similar, but are a part of a different family of predatory bird. In this little vid, the predatory bird is a bit small for me to accurately tell. Forgive me.

Oh? Awesome! Herons are exceptional hunters. Though it may seem cruel, they do survive on a diet of gophers, ducklings, and more. Nature is hungry.
