In Canada, most folk do not think of the number 13 nor Friday the 13th as being unlucky. I know that in the United States, there are buildings without their 13th floors being marked as 13. The name for that is "triskaidekaphobia", a fear of the number 13. Superstition can do weird, maybe fun things to us.
