A lot of us grew up during the golden age of gaming in the 90s and early 2000s. Some people remember the brutal difficulty and mastering mechanics, while others remember the stories, the late-night multiplayer sessions, or just the feeling of exploring huge worlds for the first time.

Looking back now, what actually mattered most to you in the games you loved?

Having fun.

MMOG with friends and with new connections with people from all over the world. I remember playing D2 Classic when it was first released and staying up late to play with people from Turkey, from South Korea, and from China, too. It was a lot of fun and great memories.

I miss Mario Party! Those were the best multiplayer moments IMO.
