Today’s a good excuse to fire up the classics and remember where gaming really started. Before massive open worlds and photorealistic graphics, we had simple pixels, unforgettable soundtracks, and games that were brutally difficult but impossible to put down. Whether it was grinding through levels, memorizing patterns, or passing the controller with friends on the couch, retro games had a kind of magic that still holds up today.
So in honor of National Retro Video Game Day, dust off those old cartridges, load up an emulator, or just reminisce a bit.
Question for everyone:
What retro game do you think aged the best and is still fun to play today?
