As a greater number of households, schools, places of employment, and old folks homes are populated with helper robots, the visual vectors of these robots will capture you entering passwords on keyboards and/or their listening mechanisms will capture all that you share while speaking privately to family, friends, a doctor, or for employment thingies.
Teleoperation is the word to keep in mind. As far as I can tell most autonomous robots are run by people in centres that are similar to those international call-centres, but are peopled by hires who are operating the robot remotely. It is not autonomous in no sense of that word. Robot owners/renters are signing on to allow strangers into their lives.
They're watching and listening. Who are "they", well, both good people as well as people with malice on their little minds.
