What unconventional/quirky things do you do when you make chili?

I add small whole pitted black olives to my chili. They absorb a lot of flavor and just turn into little morsels that burst in your mouth like a gusher, so much flavor from something so flavorless


I also add sugar to cut back on the acidity



What do you do?

a can of peaches
instead of the sugar
for same effects

My wife makes a mean buffalo chicken chili, no beans.

I love using deer meat in my chilli

this sounds close to my wifes white chicken chilli except its more mexican flavored than buffalo, but buffalo chicken anything is great IMO

Growing up we always did half beef half venison but I haven't gotten any venison in awhile, shit is so good

Add BBQ suace or worchesture Worchestire Worcestershire sauce in a decent quantity - Or Ketchup. Add adds nice flavor

Cinnamon rolls always go with chili
