For storing fuel anyone know if a coke bottle sufficient as a long term storage container? Since I am too lazy to google shit right now.
Normally I use gas cans but the other day thought why couldn't I use a regular plastic bottle? Or will it deform the bottle because you need special kind of plastic?

From performing a quick search it appears that it can cause degradation of the soda bottle materials and end up causing leaks. I would say it's better to be safe than sorry.
