Imagine fishing and a fish KOs you as it flies across your boat.
A single female fish can lay up to 1 million eggs! Sheesh. It is difficult to fight against such an invasive species.

It would be a lot easier to get rid of illegal invaders if people would stop eating at their restaurants.

Short sighted. Free supply of unlimited easy to catch food. They are a bit bony and I can see why some people might dislike them but it doesn't get easier than that. The fish literally jump into your boat.

Turn it into catfood or fertilizer for gardens, feed the homeless etc

Those are good suggestions. They are working on some of those. Fertilizer is the big one.
