First, to those who have paid for a subscription to YouTube, yes, I can avoid the following if I did, too. So, no worries there.
YouTube has been strategically placing adverts at the very moment that the video you are viewing is about to reveal something important, when there is a jump scare of a short horror film, or at the very moment a game show will show that someone won or lost something, just to name a few. The algorithms are now trained to catch you when your adrenalin or peaked interest is at max. At that exact moment, you are temporarily denied a conclusion and pummeled with an advert. That is some serious advertising deception tactics there. Sigh.
