Bears are vital to any of the ecosystems that they occupy. We "smarter" primates keep building and entering into what may be the last places that wild animals find some semblance of safety from us. I am no animal activist, but I think that we can do more with the areas that we already occupy than to take up more and more space. I do not think that terraforming dead planets will ever be an answer. We just got to be better stewards of this pale blue dot. Well, except for silverfish and cockroaches. SQUASH THOSE! Oops. I let myself go there for a second.
