This I did consider. It was just so sudden and she had no other symptoms up until it happened, I dont have any experience either way. I dont even know which scenario would be preferred, they both seem really shitty.

Her name is Jessie, Jessica Marie!

Thanks for good feels.
I hope I have good news tomorrow :(

You should have taken her to an all-night vet. I hope she is ok!

Hope she's okay. I know pets can be like family, even closer.

These aren't just everywhere. Unfortunately.
It's up to the vets discretion on if they take an emergency call and open up the doors for you.

Taking her to the vet tomorrow
Am very sad
Did a big cry

Started walking in circles, collapsed and couldnt get back up, puking a lot

After a couple hours she is back walking again but wobbly and shes acting a bit weird
Shes been with me for 14 years, shes my baby :(

OP we are getting ready to be in the same boat with our oldest dog (12-13 ish) she has a collapsed trachea and its getting worse and worse with her hacking. I believe eventually fluid will just build up enough in the lungs and its time to go.
I'm braced for impact but my girlfriend will be in shambles for a very long time.

I hope all is well, I hope she recovers. Every dog before it's natural death tells you when they're ready, just listen to her and don't be selfish. When she wants to go its time to go.
Be with her every step of the way, it's the least you can do for unconditional love and her being there for you every step of the way.

I made assumptions and I realise it sounded a bit judgemental. I didn't mean it that way, just I thought the quicker he could get her help the better, but yes you're right - perhaps it's not an option where he is. I just hope his little girl is ok!

That's awful about your pup too. It makes me so sad to see any animal suffer. It's the absolute worst :'(
