Ok lets work with 38000km the highest account on the GE model. (Australia coastline is believed to longer than the Antarctica continent )

The circumference of the FE and thus the ice wall (give or take ) is 126395km
You just need to verify greater that 38000. and you'll prove the Antarctica continent is rubbish

No boats or gas is allowed below the 60th parrellel south without written permission from multiple states - you think you can just get a boat , tell everyone your plan and just do it.

Seriously it would probably be easier to build a rocket and fly up 400 miles and then just fly over antarctica - you know cause rockets work fine in a vacuum ..... <_<

yes its more than just the continent , i read the last "circumnavigation" of antarctica was from a guy who did not cross this parallel cause it would break to many laws

How do you explain all the ships who sailed to Antarctica then

The treaty also says ( http://www.ats.aq/e/ats.htm )

Freedom of scientific investigation in Antarctica and cooperation toward that end … shall continue (Art. II).

Scientific observations and results from Antarctica shall be exchanged and made freely available (Art. III).

There's a bit of a contradiction here then.

None really. I do have a friend whose father has visited Antarctica (by airplane), he did not need anybody's approval, and he found it a very interesting trip. Of course that may have been a lie, so it doesn't prove anything.

I'm just wondering why you say that written approval is needed from several states. If you believe this to be true, I assume you got this information from a credible source?

This is true. When flying and plotting your flight plan they do inquire in regards to your research and scientific intentions. They won't deny you, they do track you though generally with multiple transponders due to the dangers involved. I was told this via the RCAF. It isn't owned after all by any nation.
