I promised you guys Jupiter.
Keep in mind this isn't the best image, but It's my first picture through a camera where the bands are visible. It took a lot of standing in the cold and persistence, but I got a decent image.

and to follow up, a Full Moon. Enjoy, more to come, obviously! :)

Isnt it? Amazing planet, and just to put into perspective... we think the earth is big, of course it is, but Jupiter... you can fit 1,321 Earths into Jupiter.

We are oh so little in a giant universe. :)
And im debating on whether to brace the cold and bring my Telescope and Laptop out to get a proper picture of Saturn revealing it's rings.
Not a cloud in the sky right now, and Saturn just began to rise about an hour ago.

Okay! Im waiting a little bit until it gets into a good viewing point, right now it's too low, I can see it with my eyes but there is my damn neighbors house in the way of the telescope vantage point, I will wait until it rises a bit more above their roof.
