I'd suggest a 3 month emergency fund at the least.
With dogs, a 6 month emergency fund.

Im going all in (aka $200 of wraps chips left) and calling that he shared bowl of dog food with his dog when things got tight

You can most certainly send me $50 if you want to but I'd go without to make sure my dogs are fed. They are well taken care of. You should stop accusing me of being a bad dog owner
