Usually mine has this great wave effect but it's so long that it's essentially a giant bowl cut that flips up at the ends

mine was somewhat like that when it was shorter. It was wavy but flat like it wouldnt lift and go back like yours. mine was just flat lol. and the longer it gets the curlier.
