everyone on the earth see the sun with the same size in the sky. that is a fact. from where ever you go on the planet it will have the same size in the sky.
this is only possible if the distance between earth and sun is big ebough, which is the case here.

If the sun was a fireball dancing over a flat earth, it would appear bigger for people right under it, and smaller to people living far away from it.
Secondly, its size would vary as the sun is travelling to the others parts of that flat disk, which obviously has never been observed before
