also your simply looking at the mythology of Greek God Helios - with Sun worshiping it dates back to Heliopolis in Egypt and not all of Egypt - just in that city which worshiped the sun,

no part of flat earth is about worshiping the sun - your relegion is centered around it - thinking we are orbiting the sun because of it grabbity

Think about it if they believed it was a GE why would they believe Helios needed to sail back to the east since in a GE model he would already be there

No it doesn't since him travelling across the sky then traveling back to the east supports a geocentric model

You guys have just made the model circular so the sun travels around the equator more or less

Problem there we get the arguments of perspective, suns visual size and the day and night cycle
