No damage control necessary. The fact that all measurements, predictions, and even sensory experience is an approximation is basic science.


Newton was 99.9999999999% correct for all speeds below 95% of the speed of light, and all masses above 10^-26kg.

Einstein accounts for that last 5% of speed, and quantum mechanics for masses below 10^-26 kg.

So for literally every experience you will personally have Newton was correct. It's only when you are dealing with extreme situations that you need to deviate from Newton to get accurate results.

Newton never commented on the source of gravity, only that it occurs between objects with mass.

He didn't get the direction of gravitational force wrong, which is what he sought to describe.


No "source" for what I posted, beyond a graduate level understanding of the scientific process. There is no science in any field that is an exact solution. Error always exists in every theory that has ever been proposed, and that will ever be proposed.
