We had a partial. I took some pictures of tree shadows, looks kinda cool with little sun crescents everywhere.

It's the same idea as the pinhole projectors. A small enough opening in a shadow will show the actual shape of the sun, so all the small holes between leaves end up showing up as crescents instead of the usual blob. Something like a strainer looks pretty cool too.
