the issue is that people eat just enough to sustain through the day and not burn the protein for their lifting.
if you jog, that's extra energy burnt, which sometimes comes from nutrients that would have otherwise gone to muscle repair
jogging + lifting requires a very heavy diet if you're going ham.
sometimes I have a hard time eating enough just when I'm lifting :/
yeah I lift and play basketball and I need at least 4000 calories a day to maintain weight (170lbs, 5% body fat)
6000 calories on tough days with lots of work
(GOOD QUALITY FOOD AND COMPLETE MEALS)
shits not cheap..
and its a marathon for life not a track meet like ice cube said.
