I think a lot of people these days underestimate the impact that their lifestyle choices have on their mood. Exercise, diet, and sleep hygiene can definitely have a large impact on depression and stress/anxiety, as can a meditation practice, and these are things that pretty much anyone can do and that also provide other health benefits.

As far as therapy goes, it seems to clearly be something that is helpful, but tbh I don't see the point in it personally if similar benefits can be gained at home for free via meditation

I mean hey, the people who do weird stuff endanger myself and people like me as much as anyone woman. I don’t think attacking a minority group benefits people when you have to agree with a radicalist ideology. Last time we saw that 911 happened. Anyway as for pride or mental health go’s I think both are valid and both lgbt deserve to be free and have the rights they want and men shouldn’t feel ashamed to talk about something without having a woman criticizing them. The biggest issue I have seen and I have accidentally done this to a guy I care about deeply is women typically use the past of men to bring up in conversation to make a point on why you should or shouldn’t do something. It’s the idea of a woman thinking “I can fix him” when only he can fix him. As for the weirdos who get on there phone in the bathroom to blog they shouldn’t be aloud in public restrooms anymore, it ruins it for everyone and the fkd up people should face more punishment. Last thing I want to see is a full blown dude in a bathroom looking over my stall while I’m trying to piss.

im guessing its because how bad portland is now? im not sure. its always just been a town full of homeless people and drug users. i grew up around there but seattle is my home.

There's a difference than what an area is actually like and how the media portraits it. Yes there are those things, but it's not that bad. I lived in downtown for years and never had any issues. Some people are just too soft I guess? Idk.

Also not everyone is the same. Some people think that because there is a generalization of a certain type of person there that everyone must be like that, when it couldn't be further from the truth.

understand most 'gay people here in GC are part of the blob. they are hyperaggressive against just certain political and religious ideas while claiming to be completely non PaRD

some advice for the new, tread lightly in GC, non conformity to its own political and religious demands and things can get real toxic real fast.
such as its ok to hail satan but dont mention Jesus.
