I guess you haven't read the last 7 pages and assume anything before your post are pointless.

You are arguing about what specifically causes light refraction and reflection. This was brought up because rainbows were brought up. In the instance of rain drops refracting/reflecting light, the whole argument does not matter, since rain drops have the "water surface" (for the lack of a better word) that causes light to refract.

tl;dr: You're just diverting the discussion away from the actual point: whether or not rain can refract sunlight and create rainbows without a mirror.

Sure, you can go through the Van Allen belt with shielding - just make sure to wear your tin foil hat.

yes and then I asked if a flashlight would refract underwater and he said it would because there is air around the bulb and then it goes though the glass on the front, so I an showing proof it doesn't refract.

tl/dr: Look at the pretty pictures.....

How do you think the Astro-nots got past the plasma sphere that is an impenetrable layer to electrons because the atoms in it travel at the speed of light- people are made of electrons.....

You can go to Antartica anytime. Its not a country. Nobody will stop you to go there and its not that expensive, and its worth all the money because you will have proof!
With proper shielding its safe to go through the Van Allen belt. The reentry shielding is more than enough.

CGI? I dont think they could run PhotoShop on chipped-rock CPUs and wooden RAMs back then :D

when I read your comments, I honestly can't be sure if you are genuinely ignorant or just trolling.

And what exactly does a flashlight underwater have to do with the shape of Earth?

I thought you said water refracts light, why dont underwater flashlights obey your physics? I guess they haven't read google, lazy bastards.

perhaps this is why:

Refraction, by definition, is the bending of light when it passes through mediums of varying density.

Sorry, I don't believe in flat earth. There are too much proof on the "Geoid Earth theory" :)
