We do know. As the fight went down exactly as anyone that knows mma would expect. Conor had no answers and left no questions.

Conor and Diaz are fun together. Their personalities and styles matchup up well for a scrap. The Diaz brothers are terminators. They are sloppy fighters but they just keep coming. You beat the shit out of them and they just keep talking shit while bloody and keep coming. They are not the same as khabib they are not as skilled and they are not as disciplined inside the octagon.

Conor fought Nate at 170 and lit Nate up until he gassed because 1. He gasses 2. Had that extra weight on him
And because of the short notice of the fight.

Second fight was pretty much a draw that could have leaned either way. 3rd fight would probably be fairly similar depending on what Nate has been up to in training the last few years. I'm a Diaz brother fan but they aren't in the same league as khabib.

Khabin absolutely dominated. Conor had a full camp for khabib and knew exactly what khabib would do. Khabib doesn't fight mysteriously he fights effectively. Conor couldn't stop him and his predictable style and gameplan just like nobody else has been able to. At no point in the fight was it reasonable to think that anything would be different with a rematch and Conor doesn't deserve one.

In the world of deserved rematches Conor deserves one far far less than people he denied rematches to like aldo and eddie.

Conor failed to use psychological warfare to his advantage. He failed to use his striking to his advantage. He cannot and will never be able to compete with khabib once khabib gets a hold of him on the ground. Khabib knows how to stick to a gameplan like a master and use being pissed off to his advantage. Khabib has effective striking even if sloppy and gave Conor one of the biggest hits he's had in his career. Khabib is a true one of a kind and artist on the ground.

One day age and the fight game will catch up to khabib just like it catches up to everyone but in his prime he is the best 155 probably ever and I'd even pick him against most 170ers

Pound for pound one of the greatest to ever do it

Should add that not only did conor try everything he could think of he even resorted to cheating and still had to tap.
What could he bring to a rematch he hasn't already tried? I mean he was throwing illegal knees, holding onto tights you name it.
He even lost standing up when khabib nearly decapitated him with that untraditional haymaker.

every fighter has their kryptonite

Rousey's was boxing and Conor's is his gas tank

take conor down 2 rounds and smother him and he becomes an entirely different fighter a much less dangerous and effective one

conor fans and commentators on conor's nuts are out of their minds on this one

Khabib takes him down early every time, gasses him every time, when he begins to show being gassed he starts the punishment and decides if he wants to choke him out, beat him into a tko, or go to decision to look at the 2 or 3 10-8 rounds every time

rematch is of course big money but it's also maximum career and health risk

diaz trilogy is the smarter fight and it doesn't throw off the balance of entertainment and integrity of the sport more than the ufc has already done

Conor has done pretty amazing things as far as fame and career go but he has lost his last 2 fights by being dominated and another would be a real quick way to start rolling down the career mountain peak he reached

the mystic part of the mac is no longer there, he needs wins if he doesn't intend to retire very soon

Nate just called khabib out, guess he thinks conor is old news.
I think conor should rematch aldo and khabib should beat Ferguson and retire a legend with nothing to prove and an untouchable legacy.

Gsp is getting old and his last weight cut messed him up pretty bad

he may never get back to 100% from the cut

he's dealing with some pretty bad colitus

He may still be looking to pop in like he did last time for a maximum profit minimal risk scenario but unless his health turns around I doubt he risks it for a prime fighter like khabib

khabib_nurmagomedov

I would like to address @ufc

Why didn't you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people? They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family?

Why do you have to punish my team, when both teams fought. If you say that I started it, then I do not agree, I finished what he had started.

In any case, punish me, @zubairatukhugov has nothing to do with that.
If you think that I’ll keep silent then you are mistaken. You canceled Zubaira’s fight and you want to dismiss him just because he hit Conor. But don’t forget that it was Conor who had hit my another Brother FIRST, just check the video.

if you decide to fire him, you should know that you’ll lose me too. We never give up on our brothers in Russia and I will go to the end for my Brother. If you still decide to fire him, don’t forget to send me my broken contract, otherwise I'll break it myself.

And one more thing, you can keep my money that you are withholding. You are pretty busy with that, I hope it won’t get stuck in your throat. We have defended our honor and this is the most important thing. We intend to go to the end.

Khabib ride or die for a coward who swings at the back of a man's head in a pre-planned attack. Great fighter, but that whole thing was a mistake and he's a child for doing it. Connor has always been childish, dropping to his level makes Khabib look like a bitch, standing up for his coward buddy even more so.

Dana is a promoter through and through

pretty much anything he says in regards to fighting or fighters is a lie to build up upcoming fights and to pressure and manipulate both fighters and casual fans for the company's interest

Dana will do anything that brings in numbers including going back on something he said publicly like the 8 million documented times he has done it
