5000 x2 (one refueling) is more than or less than 15000? Never mind the fact that on your map, Tahiti is much, much further than 5000 miles from his origin in Chile.

Literally every technology that allows us to measure the distance flown by airplanes doesnt work. Some guy on YouTube told me.

That was a basic azimuthal-equidistan map I used for reference. (not to scale)
If you purchase the 1892 Gleason’s New Standard Map of the World from Amazon and grabbed a ruler, you can do the math and see Tahiti - Chile is under 4000 miles.
