In practice they do converge but that's because your eye has a limit to the angular size rit can resolve. If you use a binocular or telescope you can always see further down the hall because your ability to discern angular differences increases.
so show me a 20 mile hallway and prove your assertion that they will never converge cause i got tons of video proof that you can clearly see objects 6-60 miles away that should not be seen
