A person with one eye (or even a person with one eye closed) sees in 2D. Explain the sunset now.

Perspective is not limited to binaural stereoscopic vision, cameras prove it every day

Mind blown even more

You cant even make water stick to a ball, you therefore have no working model

Fail more

Get a planet sized ball and it’ll be easy :)

2d side view drawing do not explain perspective, they do it to trick you into thinking you understand when you dont.
Your 2d side view reasoning of why the sun cant set on Flat Earth proves you dont understand the difference between reality and a real optical view.

Why does the ceiling inside a long hallway appear to be traveling down from the top of your view which is closer? Is it really going down or just appearing that way optically?

It appears to be going down because the angle between the ceiling and the Center of your vision decreases the further down the hallway.

This is also the reason why no matter how long the hallway is the ceiling and floor will never converge.

In practice they do converge but that's because your eye has a limit to the angular size it can resolve. If you use a binocular or telescope you can always see further down the hall because your ability to discern angular differences increases.

If you ever take a physics class you will learn about how lenses amplify the size of objects, it all comes down to the same system I just described.
