THere is no question you think the horizon is due to the curve of the earth and that your seeing over a wall or a hump and its based on a 2d side view that you are convinced describes reality.

Thats fine. But now according to you both of us can't prove our theories so what makes your's more plausible?

Lets take perspective explaining the "sunset" effect people see as an example.
Chivas now states that water in the atmosphere causes magnification which makes the sun appear the same size as it moves further away from use towards the evening
